To measure fungal alpha-amylase alone, use the conversion factor available in the Ceralpha kit (K-CERA) data booklet. To measure fungal alpha-amylase in the presence of cereal alpha-amylase a temperature inactivation step must be included.
Can the Ceralpha Alpha-Amylase Assay Reagent (R-CAAR4) be used for the determination of fungal alpha-amylase?
