The K-ACHYD assay is linear over the range of 0.5 to 20 μg of acetaldehyde per assay. Using a 0.1 mL assay volume of the prepared standard at 0.08 mg/mL acetaldehyde ammonia/0.05 mg/mL acetaldehyde will correspond to 5 µg of acetaldehyde in the assay.
