It is highly recommend to analyse the control yeast β-glucan preparation provided with the kit with each set of determinations. If the value received for the controls is as stated on the label, you can assume that the assay was performed correctly.
Is it possible to check if the β-glucan values for my samples are correct when measured using the β-Glucan Assay Kit (Yeast and Mushroom) (K-YBGL)?
