The Raffinose/D-Galactose assay is linear over the range of 4 to 83 μg of D-galactose or 12 to 250 μg of raffinose per assay. Using a 0.2 mL assay volume of the supplied D-galactose standard at 0.40 mg/mL will correspond to 80 µg of D-galactose in the assay. Similarly, using 0.2 mL assay volume of the prepared raffinose control at ~ 0.80 mg/mL will correspond to 160 µg of raffinose in the assay.
