The standards we supply are for use in the measurement of xylanase in animal feeds. However, they can also be used for wheat flours. These are to be used according to the separate sheets (separate from booklet) for measurement of xylanase in animal feeds. If you wish to use the A. niger xylanase in the standard assay (40˚C, 10min); you would dilute it appropriately to get it on scale (i.e. 1:10).
I have assayed the Aspergillus xylanase standard with the Xylanase Assay Kit (K-AZOWAX) using the suggested dilution of 1:100 and am getting an OD of only 0.03.
