We have not performed this assay with either Maltase (E-MALTS) or alpha-glucosidase (E-TSAGL) but we think that the E-MALTS is more likely to have the specificity you need (i.e. limited action on 1,6-linked alpha-D-glucose).
Have you tested your alpha-glucosidases for 1,6-activity? If so how does it compare to the 1,4-activity?
