Can the Amylazyme method be used to determine the alpha-amylase activity of fungal (A. oryzae) preparations ranging from 2,000 SKB to 120,000 SKB per gram with accuracy?

The Amylazyme method can be used to determine alpha-amylase activity of fungal preparations ranging from 2,000 to 120,000 SKB units per gram. However, for this type of determination, we would recommend the α-Amylase SD Assay Kit (High Sensitivity Method) (K-AMYLSD) or the Ceralpha method (K-CERA) (accuracy +/- 5%). The accuracy of the Amylazyme method is +/- 7%.
