What does the Malt Amylase Assay Kit (K-MALTA) measure?

Modified on: Fri, 24 Sep, 2021 at 11:44 AM

The Malt Amylase Assay Kit (K-MALTA) is a combination of the α-Amylase Assay Kit (Ceralpha Method) (K-CERA) and the β-Amylase Assay (Betamyl-3) (K-BETA) test kits.

The Malt Amylase Assay Kit (K-MALTA) provides colourimetric methods for the determination of α-Amylase and β-Amylase in cereal grains, malt, food, beverages and fermentation products. The measurement of α-Amylase uses the Ceralpha procedure (K-CERA) and β-Amylase uses the Betamyl-3 procedure (K-BETA3).
