This substrate is partially soluble in water. It has a solubility of ~5 mg/mL in acetone. However it has higher solubility in other organic solvents such as methanol, DMSO and DMF. I would recommend that you dissolve fully in, for example DMSO, and then dilute to the required concentration in water.
What is the solubility of 4-Nitrophenyl-α-L-fucopyranoside (O-PNPAFC) in water? Are other solvents recommended?
