How should the Lactic Acid Assay Kit (K-LATE) be run if unsure of the lactic acid content in a sample?

Modified on Thu, 14 Oct, 2021 at 2:25 PM

If unsure of the quantity of lactic acid in a sample, the best course of action is to perform a series of serial dilutions using the sample and distilled water.

Once this has been done, run the neat sample and dilutions alongside the kit standard.

In this case, a ∆A of less than or equal to 0.900 will ensure your sample is within the range of the assay.
