Can papain activity be measured using Protazyme tablet tests (T-PRAK) and the activity calculated as Tyr mg/min?

Yes. The calculation for the Protazyme tablet methods give units in micromoles per minute. If you need mg/min, the conversion is: Protease Activity = Protease Activity x MW of Tyrosine (Tyr mg/min) (Tyr micromoles /min) x 1000.
