The K-GATE assay is linear over the range of 0.8 to 50 μg of D-gluconic acid per assay. Using a 0.1 mL assay volume of the prepared standard at 0.279 mg/mL sodium D-gluconate/0.250 mg/mL D-gluconic acid will correspond to 25 µg of D-gluconic acid in the assay.
