Regarding the amount of each component supplied per kit, Megazyme’s main priority is to supply enough of each to allow the end-user to easily obtain the stated number of tests per kit.
In doing this all of the kit components are supplied in excess of what is required to obtain the stated number of tests, however the more expensive components i.e. enzymes are supplied in lesser excess than the inexpensive components such as buffers. There will always be some discrepancy between excess amounts.
