Q: Is it possible to analyse chicory coffee with K-LACGAR or K-LOLAC for lactose content?
A: It is not possible to remove the colour from chicory coffee samples, therefore it would not be possible to perform lactose analysis. Also the expected level of lactose in chicory sample is very low and therefore a high sample dilution, that could be potentially used to counteract the strong colour, would negatively affect the reproducibility of the results.
