We would recommend sticking to the procedure exactly as stated in the booklet as this is how we perform and validate the method.
If you choose to deviate from the stated procedure this should be validated in your own laboratory. As we have not performed this method with lower volumes we cannot comment on its efficacy &/or resultant accuracy.
