How should I dry samples for analysis with the K-TSTA kit?

We always recommend freeze drying samples instead of heating to dry them.

Heat can change the chemical structure of starch, for example dry heating is used to produce modified starches which are more resistant or unsusceptible to enzyme hydrolysis.

The method for analysis will change if there is resistant starch present in the sample.
