We have not tested this sample with this kit. However, provided that the level of L-glutamic acid in the sample is above the limit of detection for this kit, this kit should work well for measurement of L-Glutamic Acid in kombu dashi.
We recommend method B on page 11 of the assay protocol is used for the analysis of Kombu Dashi.
