The Megaquant can be used for K-TSTA, however it will need to be used in absorbance mode.
The MegaQaunt Wave has a filter for 505 nm and the K-TSTA assay uses 510 nm. As all results are relative to the glucose standard which will also be read at 505 nm and therefore using the MegaQaunt Wave at 505 nm to read the absorbances for K-TSTA is OK.
It will not be able to automatically calculate results as with the programmed kits - this is because of the complexity of the calculation. The raw absorbance values must then be applied to the K-TSTA MegaCalc.
