Can beta-amylase (E-BARBL/E-BARBP) be used at pH 8 (in order to minimise the alpha-amylase activity). Do you have a buffer to suggest?

The beta-amylase we provide is free of alpha-amylase (less than one part in 2 million).  You can choose any pH at which to use it (within the range of the enzyme activity).  At pH 8.0, you may decide to use Tris/HCl buffer.
