The amount of beta-amylase in the liquid and powder forms are essentially the same. The liquid form is crystalline beta-amylase in 3.2 M ammonium sulphate while the powder form is the same enzyme dissolved in water and diluted with BSA and freeze dried.
What is the relative activity of the liquid (E-BARBL) and powder (E-BARBP) forms of your barley beta-amylase?
