Is it possible to use K-EBHLG to test wine samples for Beta Glucan?

We have tried to adapt the method to measurement of beta-glucan from Botrytis in wine, but this method is not sensitive enough. 


Unfortunately concentrating the beta-glucan by alcohol precipitation and washing of the precipitated glucan have been tried but phenolic related colour prevented this from being successful.
