To measure fungal alpha-amylase alone, use the conversion factor available in the Ceralpha kit (K-CERA) data booklet. To measure fungal alpha-amylase in the presence of cereal alpha-amylase a temperature inactivation step must be included.
Can the α-Amylase HR Assay Reagent (R-AMHR4) be used for the determination of fungal alpha-amylase?
