Unfortunately we have not validated K-YBGL for use with algae or seaweed samples.
K-YBGL method is suitable for the measurement and analysis of 1,3:1,6-beta-glucan, 1,3-β-glucan and α-glucan.
If this is present in this matrix and is above the detection limit it will be analysed. This may require some optimisation.
However customers have chose to use K-YBGL to measure beta-glucan in Algae samples.
