Is it possible to use alternative equipment to those listed in the procedure for the Resistant Starch Assay Kit (K-RSTAR)?

We recommend sticking to the procedure exactly as stated as this is how the kit has been validated. 

We have never performed this assay using alternate equipment so it is difficult to advise. 

Any deviation from the assay procedure would require validation in your laboratory. If equipment is changed we would suggest to run the kit control to ensure the assay is working correctly.
