There is a white precipitate in my GOPOD Buffer Solution. Is this OK to use?

Modified on Wed, 15 Jun, 2022 at 9:41 AM

The white precipitate in the GOPOD buffer solution is due to the preservative used in the buffer coming out of solution.

This is only a cosmetic issue and does not affect the results obtained with the buffer and therefore the buffer is good to use.

It is recommended to continue to use the current buffer and to test the glucose standard and controls provided in the kits.

This issue is being monitored with the aim of providing a resolution in the near future.
