Will boiling oat beta-glucan (P-BGOM) under neutral conditions cause hydrolysis of this polysaccharide?

Heating to 80˚C would be acceptable. You could expect some depolymerisation at higher temperatures but this will be minimal if pH is neutral and time is short (e.g. 10 min).
