What is the difference between β-glucan FIA Standard (P-BGCFA) and MW Standard (P-MWBGS)?

MW Standards were prepared by depolymerisation of high MW beta-glucan, and the MW determined. The FIA standard is a low MW beta-glucan which has been freeze dried in the presence of mannitol to aid rapid re-dissolution.
