Crystallization of the GOPOD reagent buffer may occur, this is not unusual for concentrated solutions stored at 4°C. This will not affect the performance of the kit. Leaving the buffer at room temperature for approximately 30 mins before making up the solution should result in a significant reduction of the crystals formed. You need to ensure that the crystals are transferred and completely dissolved when this buffer is diluted to 1 L with distilled water.
There are crystals in my GOPOD reagent buffer. Is this normal and will it affect my assay?
