In the Resistant Starch Assay Kit (K-RSTAR), is it possible to perform the digestion using stir bars instead of a shaking bath?

The linear shaking and orientation during this step is extremely important so we do not recommend the use of any alternative equipment or method. 

We cannot stand by the accuracy of the values obtained by altering this method, any changes would have to validated internally.
