What is the reason for wetting with ethanol and is it really necessary to dissolve arabinoxylan at 100˚C? We have good experience with dissolution in water at ambient temperature.

The xylose to arabinose ratio is given on the arabinoxylan data sheet. Is this ratio liable to fluctuation across different batches?
